Since the first time I started playing with cameras as a young girl, to photographing high-speed sports games and live music performances, to directing family members for a group portrait, I’ve always been fascinated with photography’s simple ability to capture a moment in time.

And now, as a mother of three, there doesn’t seem to be anything more important than that—besides, you know, brushing your teeth every day and eating healthy….
